Disney, FEMA and Tovar Share This In Common

You may have played this childhood game before. It involves figuring out the common thread between three seemingly different things. Dust off your thinking cap and give this one a shot.

Question: What do these three things have in common?

  1. Scar’s song from Disney’s The Lion King
  2. Tovar Snow Professionals
  3. FEMA

Wait for it…did you figure it out? That was quick!

Answer: They all have to do with… “Being Prepared!” A wise motto to live by. But what does preparation mean in terms of the upcoming Chicagoland winter and how it affects your business? Let’s take a look at what we can expect in the upcoming months.

Winter 2015-2016 Outlook

According to the Farmers’ Almanac, the winter of 2015–2016 is looking like a repeat of last winter, at least in terms of temperatures with unseasonably cold conditions.

The coldest periods will be in early to mid-December, late December, and early to mid- and mid-to late January and February. The snowiest periods will be in late November, December, mid-January, and early and late February. So basically it’s going to be cold, real cold, and it’s going to snow a lot!

Severe winter weather can lead to property damage, employee or customer injury, and possible business closures. Preparing before the storm can help you protect your employees, minimize damage and recover quicker following a winter event. Tovar provides proactive planning for your commercial property so you can focus on your business.
