We were honored to be nominated by UPS and recognized by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) as a Hispanic Business Enterprise 2015 Elite Honoree. The national convention took place in Houston, and is considered the largest gathering of Hispanic business leaders in America. Tovar is proud to support the USHCC’s recognition of Hispanic entrepreneurship and was please to attend the event as a guest of honor.

Being named one of The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® was an exciting accolade to accomplish in 2015. Jeff's philosophy on supplier diversity is that in an ever-evolving world of cross-cultural societies, employees and vendors with various backgrounds are needed. It is these differences coming together with a common vision that allow us to provide world class services to our customers and make a positive impact on the communities in which we serve.

Charitable giving has always been a cornerstone of Tovar. We believe supporting multiple non-profit organizations helps us strengthen the ties to the communities we serve. Tovar’s Jean LaRocco partnered with The Home Depot Celebration of Service to serve our vets. She was sent to California to help rejuvenate and transform the grounds at Stuart Mesa and Santa Margarita Elementary Schools in San Diego County for the children who live on base at Camp Pendleton.

“Tovar Snow Professionals is proud to support The Home Depot Celebration of Service. Veterans and their families deserve to have safe and accessible living, and I'm honored to be able to give back to the community by working together with like-minded organizations,” La Rocco said.

New York Times bestselling author Jack Canfield, the mastermind behind “The Success Principles” and the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book series, helped us celebrate our 25th anniversary with inspirational wisdom to help us achieve even higher levels of business success. Canfield’s critical insight and compelling message resonated with our core value of continuous education.

Eric Hartmann, VP of Sales and Marketing, interviewed with Mike Seidel from The Weather Channel, about winter storm Bella, the heaviest snowstorm before Thanksgiving in over 65 years.

Tovar’s Chuck Haas, National Sales Executive, made his appearance on a TV talk show for Next Level Leadership Media on the topic of “Leadership in the Workplace.” He also contributed several articles that were published in three different trade journals (The Commercial Voice, Northern Illinois Journal of Real Estate, & R.A.M.).

We owe our extraordinary success to the hardworking people of Tovar Snow Professionals and we can’t wait to see what they do this year in 2016.
